FEATURED TEACHING · WHY PROPHECY MATTERS

How Fulfilled Prophecy Shows Us That God Can Be Trusted

Bible prophecy was never given simply to satisfy our curiosity about the future. Again and again, God tells His people what He will do—and then history reveals His faithfulness.

From promises made centuries before Jesus was born to prophecies fulfilled in remarkable detail, Scripture gives us a reason to trust the God who sees the end from the beginning.

Fulfilled prophecy doesn't just tell us something about the past. It gives us confidence in the One who holds the future.

THE COMING KING

Long before Bethlehem, God had already promised that Someone was coming.

From Genesis to the prophets, Scripture reveals the story piece by piece—a promised Savior, a King from David’s line, a suffering Servant, and a kingdom that will never end. Jesus fulfilled those promises in His first coming, through His birth, His cross, and His resurrection.

But the story isn’t finished. Revelation 19 shows us the King who came once in humility returning in glory. The same God who kept every promise that led to Jesus’ first coming can be trusted with every promise that still points toward His return.
